As a Dreamhost user I know how much uptime there is. I am on the computer a lot. I think I have noticed my site down about ten times this year if its been down for 9 hours again I bet that makes about 80%.

I think its pretty poor.
Hopefully I will be able to afford dedicated soon.

Andrew, just because I felt extra geeky, I've run the numbers and if these were the only 9 hours down this whole year, they'd still be at 99.897% uptime.

Just goes to show, it depends on which 9 hours they were. Had you been "Digged", it would have mattered. If it was from 11pm - 8am, well, how many people would have noticed. Either way, I think the lesson is that shared hosting will never be awesome. I've tried a ton of them, and experienced downtime with each. If you want virtual 100% uptime, you still gotta shell out.

:-(

Glad to have you back live.
