I can’t believe this works… has anyone tried this? Seems so insecure. Maybe it’s just a fake video, and they’re actually using the keyless remote to unlock the door, but I pulled this guy’s anecdotal evidence out of the Digg comments.

That’s pretty funny. Wonder if it actually works.
it actually does work. not on luxury brands, but camrys, accords, etc.
Wild. I gotta try it. Too bad I’m in the city and carless. I don’t think it’s a good idea to experiment with this on other people’s cars ;)
Jesus Rocks!
I suspected that some locks would be more difficult than others so I procured a variety of different sized hollow balls. All the vechicles on the lot where I put the theory to work yielded to my efforts. I had to hit a basketball with a sledge hammer on a Hummer. A Jetta opened with a ping pong ball.
Cute.
ur lying J.D Macdonald. cos as u would kno about the air pressure.. wher a ping pong ball is HARD with no air PRESSURE at all..
I used a golf ball with a slice. It looked as if it was smiling. It did not work at first. So I took it to the driving range,
hooked the ball , broke my window and unlocked my car
