Of Interest

I often times find things on the net that I find very interesting, but they are not substancial enough to merit a post of their own. So here’s an aggregation of some of those items I have been storing up for the past few weeks:

I could just stick my del.icio.us feed into my feedburner feed, but I find those del.icio.us feed posts get tedious after awhile, so I’ll try doing posts like this instead.

Also, sorry to anyone who has already seen these links a million times. Sometimes I’m slow to pick up what’s stale and what’s new.

This is a new version of the NYTimes’ pieces on the dead in Iraq. In general, all of their flash pieces on the dead in Iraq (in my limited memory) have been extremely impressive and potent.

I rarely subscribe to anything, and I’m a Times Select subscriber so thats my 2cents on how well the times has transitioned from off-line powerhouse to on-line powerhouse.

    Hey Andrew,

Have you tried using the google reader share feature for this? It produces a feed that you can run through FeedBurner and then BuzzBoost onto your site. Check out my little write-up on that here: http://www.ericjohnolson.com/blog/2007/01/23/posts-worth-reading/ Happy hacking!

    Cheers,
    Eric

Thanks Perry. I’ll check it out.

Eric, looks like a pretty smart implementation for the site. I might do it, but I’d want to add a way that my feed readers could benefit too.

    Hey Andrew:

I find the auto del.icio.us posting to be te.dio.us. too.

I have been using a recent links plugin for wordpress to point to sites, posts, or articles that are interesting but aren’t worthy of an entire blog post.

If you are interested, the plugin and more information can be found here.
