    Just as a heads up, I tried to register with (and buy from) Etsy yesterday but I never received my confirmation email, so my account could not be created. I just gave it another shot, but now I get a web server timeout error when I try to complete registration.

    Hi there, the website has just undergone a huge make over, they were down 3 days for that, and then some. They are still working on the bugs so just keep trying.

    Yea, they’ve been through a rough patch. Oh well. Should be all sorted out soon. In the meantime, the service is worth the wait.
