Just got my first printing of “The Gong Show” back from the studio. Granted, it’s on casette, but this blog likes to kick it retro sometimes (Gaming peaked with the 8-bit NES), so I’m ok with tapes.

“Gaming peaked with the 8-bit NES…”? - I have to disagree with this comment.
I’m an old school gamer, but I thought the NES was what made video games mainstream. The SNES was the peak of the old school gaming era (platform style games - super mario…etc.). PlayStation started a new era of 3D gaming (aka next-gen), then Xbox pioneered online-broadband-console gaming.
I’m not hardcore on PC gaming, so my view might be skewed here.
